NCERT has formed a committee of experts to review feedback on educational content in a few textbooks, following objections to Class 8 map depicting Jaisalmer as part of the then Maratha Empire. The council said the panel will examine evidence and submit its report, adding it's open to corrections, with research underway to verify the map’s boundaries for future revisions.
