Dinner planned for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs at PM Narendra Modi's residence on September 8 has been cancelled as floods caused destruction in North Indian states, multiple reports said on Saturday. The gathering was scheduled ahead of Vice Presidential elections. A dinner scheduled for Saturday at BJP national president JP Nadda's residence has also reportedly been cancelled.
