The Centre on Thursday said around 2,900 Indians living illegally in the UK and the US have been deported by the countries. Of this, the US has deported more than 2,790 Indian nationals, while around 100 Indian nationals have been deported by the UK, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said. "Their credentials and nationality were verified before repatriation," said MEA.
