Nearly half of Haryana's government colleges are functioning without principals, exposing a deepening academic crisis at a time when higher education institutions are expected to transition to the New Education Policy (NEP). Data obtained under the Right to Information (RTI) Act revealed that 85 of the state's 185 government colleges, about 46%, do not have a regular principal.
