The Nepali Army on Wednesday said the prohibitory order currently in force across the country will remain effective until 5 pm, after which nationwide curfew will be imposed until 6 am Thursday, citing threats to public security. According to an official statement, groups have infiltrated the demonstrations and engaged in vandalism, arson, looting, targeted attacks, and attempted sexual assaults.
