Purported visuals of Nepalese ministers and government officials escaping have surfaced online. The videos showed people hanging on to ropes dangling from helicopters as they were airlifted amid massive, violent protests and large-scale arson by protesters. Protesters targeted government buildings, houses of several government officials and Parliament building, setting fire to them.
