US President Donald Trump called the corruption trial against Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu a “witch hunt,” adding, “It should be cancelled immediately or a pardon given to a great hero who has done so much for the state.” He described the trial as “politically motivated". “He deserves much better than this, and so does the State of Israel,” Trump stated.
