Scientists in Singapore have developed a new AI tool that can predict with 82% accuracy whether liver cancer will return after treatment or not. The tool, called the Tumour Immune Microenvironment Spatial (TIMES) score, looks at how natural killer (NK) cells are positioned within the tumour to tell the risk of cancer relapse. It focuses on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
