A new district named Kalyan Singh Nagar, named after former UP CM Kalyan Singh, is being planned in Uttar Pradesh. The new district will be formed by reallocating areas from Aligarh and Bulandshahr, the birthplace of Kalyan Singh. "If a new district is named after him in Aligarh...it will be appreciated," UP Minister Dharmpal Singh said.
