After the Air India plane crash, Civil Aviation Ministry has issued new draft rules for demolishing obstructions such as buildings and trees, which may pose risk to aircraft safety. The draft, issued on June 18, said Collector will carry out demolition of buildings or reduce their height following due procedure if they're found in violation of rules.
