Haryana DGP, OP Singh, on Wednesday, attended the funeral of IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, who allegedly died by suicide in Chandigarh on October 7. Singh was given the additional charge after DGP Shatrujeet Kapur was sent on leave. Kumar accused Kapur and other senior officials of caste-based discrimination and mental harassment in his nine-page suicide note.
