Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing has found that New India Co-operative Bank's Prabhadevi branch had a permit to keep ₹10 crore but its records showed it had ₹122 crore on the day of RBI inspection. RBI officials, however, found only ₹60 lakh in the vault and ₹10.53 crore at another branch. A probe is ongoing to find the missing money.
