The Union government's announcement for immediate implementation of the four new progressive Labour Codes has consolidated 29 colonial-era laws into a modern framework that supports worker welfare and boosts manufacturing and services, the India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) said. The reforms will also give workers and businesses greater policy clarity and predictability.
