Indian Railways is set to launch the Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express on November 7, enhancing high-speed connectivity between Kerala and Karnataka. The train will cover the 7-hour, 40-minute journey via Coimbatore and Palakkad, operating six days a week. The train can reach a maximum speed of 160 kmph, cutting down travel time between the two cities, reports said.
