After a stampede killed at least three people amid the Rath Yatra in Odisha's Puri, a resident said a new way was made for VIPs. "Common people were asked to exit from a distance. People started exiting from the entrance itself, which increased the crowd," said Swadhin Kumar Panda. The stampede took place near Gundicha Temple at around 4.30 am.
