A 23-year-old newlywed woman has been hospitalised with burn injuries, allegedly inflicted by her husband in MP, police said. She alleged that her husband tortured her, demanding dowry, and branded her in more than 50 spots on her body, using a heated knife. She allegedly reported the assault to her in-laws but they accused her of inflicting injuries on herself.
