The next generation E10 Shinkansen bullet trains will run on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail (MAHSR) corridor, the Railway Ministry said. The Ministry stated that the E10 bullet train "will be introduced simultaneously in India and Japan." It also claimed that there was no delay in the project’s execution and that trials would be conducted in 2026-27 as per schedule.
