National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has imposed a fine of ₹20 lakh on toll collecting agency after an Army jawan was beaten by toll staff on Sunday. The NHAI has also started process of terminating and debarring the agency from future participation in toll plaza bids. Kapil Kavad was allegedly beaten after he complained of long queue.
