Baisaran Valley meadow in J&K was targeted in the April 22 Pahalgam attack due to its "high tourist presence" and "relative isolation", the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said on Thursday. Three terrorists, affiliated with Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, were directly involved in the attack, NIA said. The three terrorists were killed by security personnel during Operation Mahadev.
