NIT Rourkela has secured patent for BHU-MANACHITRA, India's 1st autonomous real-time land mapping drone system. The drone uses AI and UAV technology to create maps instantly without internet or external computers. It can identify crops, forests, roads and buildings on the spot. The lightweight model supports agriculture, disaster response, land records, environment monitoring, smart-city planning.
