ICMR-NIV Pune has launched the NAKSHATRA HPC cluster under PMABHIM to boost genomic research and public health readiness. With 700 cores and 1 petabyte storage, it supports virus surveillance, AI-driven drug development, and early outbreak detection. The facility will aid five ICMR institutes and strengthen India's pandemic preparedness for Viksit Bharat 2047.
