NLC India received a Letter of Award from TNGECL for three Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, totalling 250 MW/500 MWh. These will operate on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model with Viability Gap Funding (VGF) in Tamil Nadu, located at Ottapidaram, Anuppankulam, and Kayathar substations. This marks the NLCIL Group's first large-scale BESS venture, secured through competitive bidding.
