National Medical Commission has approved the addition of 10,650 new MBBS seats and 41 new medical colleges in India for the academic year 2025-26. The addition of new medical colleges has raised the total number of medical institutions in the country to 816, The Indian Express reported. UP has got 100 seats, while TN and MP got 50 seats each.
