NMC's Postgraduate Medical Education Board released FAQs clarifying faculty eligibility under the 2025 Medical Institutions Regulations. Senior Consultants with 3 years' PG teaching can be Professors; doctors with 10 years' experience in 220-bed hospitals can be Associate Professors; and those with 2 years' post-PG experience can be Assistant Professors.
