Union Housing Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said there are no "major civic infrastructure-related issues" in Gurugram except waterlogging during heavy rain. Citing Haryana government data, he noted rapid urbanisation has damaged traditional drainage, though critical waterlogging points have dropped from 90 in 2019 to 30 in 2024. "Emergency water-pumping infrastructure also been scaled up," he said.
