A Canadian government task force monitoring the April 2025 federal elections found no evidence of foreign interference by India. However, China and Russia were cited for attempted interference and online manipulation. The task force observed transnational repression by China and Russian disinformation but concluded these didn't affect fairness of elections, which saw victory of the Liberal Party.
