Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that Centre won't provide any further equity conversion beyond the current 49% to Vodafone Idea (Vi). This comes after SC dismissed a petition filed by telecom companies to waive off penalties and interests accrued over the adjusted gross revenue (AGR). Scindia highlighted that Centre has already converted dues worth ₹36,000 crore of Vi into equity.
