An Israeli woman who buried her 27-year-old son, taken hostage by Hamas, a third time, said there was no greater pain than what she had endured. Some remains of the deceased, Ofir Tzarfati, were recovered by Israel in 2023, allowing the family to hold a funeral then. More remains of Tzarfati were returned in 2024 and 2025 after Israel-Hamas ceasefire.
