BJP's Amit Malviya dismissed reports claiming the party plans to make Colonel Sofia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh the face of its campaign, calling the reports fake. He said comments by BJP Minority Morcha President Jamal Siddiqui were misconstrued in this regard. Siddiqui had talked about launching a campaign aimed at connecting educated Muslim women with the armed forces.
