Shafikul Alam, an aide and press secretary of Bangladesh's interim leader Muhammad Yunus, said there are no plans in place to let the Pakistan army operate in Bangladesh. "Yunus wants good relations with all SAARC countries that also includes Pakistan," Alam said. Last November, Bangladesh received its first direct cargo shipment from Pakistan since the former gained independence in 1971.
