Reacting to Supreme Court asking BJP leader Rajiv Babbar to consider closing defamation case against him, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said the problem in the system is "that too many frivolous cases are allowed to function". "The process itself becomes the punishment," Tharoor stated. Babbar had filed defamation case over Tharoor's remark comparing PM Modi with a "scorpion".
