The Nobel committee has been unable to reach scientist Fred Ramsdell to inform him that he's won the 2025 Prize for Medicine. His lab said Ramsdell is "living his best life" on an "off the grid" hiking trip. "He may be backpacking...in Idaho," Ramsdell's friend Jeffrey Bluestone said. Ramsdell won the prize for research on the immune system's functioning.
