To manage the festive rush during Diwali and Chhath Puja 2025, Indian Railways has announced five pairs of Festival Special trains connecting Punjab and Bihar. The services, starting October 22, will generate additional berths and ease travel pressure for home-bound passengers. These trains will operate via major junctions including Patna, Katihar, and Supaul, under the Northern Railway zone.
