Ahead of 2026 season of The Hundred, the franchise Northern Superchargers have been officially renamed as the Sunrisers Leeds, on Tuesday, November 4. Earlier this year, the Indian media conglomerate Sun Group took over Northern Superchargers for sum of £100 million. Sun Group have 100% control over both Northern Superchargers and the group have bought Yorkshire’s 49% stake as well.
