Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Sanjay Raut said his party's fight is not against Hindi, but only against making it compulsory third language in Maharashtra's primary schools. Raut added that Maharashtra does not oppose speaking Hindi outside educational settings. His comment comes after Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin welcomed Uddhav and Raj Thackeray's reunion, which he said was to "defeat Hindi imposition."
