Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Monday that he's "not immediately" worried about China's move to construct the world’s largest dam on Brahmaputra. Stating that the "mighty river" isn't dependent on a single source of water, he said, "If [its] flow is disturbed...biodiversity will be affected...But there's also...counter view that if less water comes, it'll also act as...flood cushioning."
