Reacting to CM Mamata Banerjee’s objection to observing ‘Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas’ on June 25, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari said, “It is a black day...We observe this every year." He added, "Not only...BJP but also every nationalist citizen observes it." He further added that people jailed during the Emergency in Bengal are honoured annually and will be this year too.
