Following the seizure of 360 kg of explosives and arms in Faridabad, Congress slammed the BJP government, accusing it of a "massive intelligence failure". Party leader Atul Patil questioned national security under Home Minister Amit Shah, saying, "If ammunition can reach Haryana, we are not secure."
