Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said all states agreed to GST reforms, which saw rate cuts for multiple commodities, but differences arose when question of revenue loss came to fore. "It's not as if Centre is sitting with huge suitcase...to give money if [states aren't collecting GST efficiently]," she said. "Centre will equally lose revenue if states lose revenue," she added.
