The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected Allahabad High Court Judge Justice Yashwant Varma's petition challenging former CJI Sanjiv Khanna's recommendation to impeach him in the 'cash at home' row. The apex court stated his plea was "not worth entertaining", adding, "We've held that CJI...had scrupulously followed the process." Justice Varma had challenged the in-house committee's enquiry report.
