For the first time, NSG snipers have been deployed on rooftops to keep a watch on the annual Rath Yatra celebrations of Lord Jagannath, Odisha DGP Y B Khurania said. Over 250 Artificial Intelligence-enabled cameras have been installed across the town for surveillance, and police-operated drones will also be used. The Rath Yatra celebrations will begin on June 27.
