NVIDIA on Wednesday briefly surpassed Google-parent Alphabet in terms of market capitalisation to become the third most-valued US firm. The m-cap of the chipmaker reached $1.83 trillion, beating the $1.82-trillion m-cap of Alphabet, as per Reuters. Shares of NVIDIA have jumped more than 200% in the past 12 months, driven by a demand for chips used in AI computing.
