Rhys Mariu hit a double hundred to put New Zealand A in the driver's seat on day one of the first unofficial Test against South Africa A at Potchefstroom. Mariu finished unbeaten on 200 off 214 as New Zealand went to stumps at 357-1. He hit 28 fours and two sixes to reach his second first-class double-century.
