Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran spoke about how the Odia film industry could join the pan-Indian wave in the country. He said, "The next major pan-Indian phenomenon might arise from a lesser-highlighted industry. Odia cinema could be the dark horse to create the next big hit." He also suggested Bhojpuri films as another contender.
