Odisha, rich in minerals like iron ore, bauxite, and coal, has long grappled with logistical bottlenecks. Paradip Port Authority, Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Sagarmala Finance Corporation and Odisha government have signed MoU to develop a new Bahuda port. The port was imperative to decongest Paradip port, enhance connectivity and unlock the untapped potential of Odisha's 480 km coastline.
