The Odisha government has rejected the proposal made by some organisations to sell Puri Jagannath temple's 'Mahaprasad' and 'dry prasad' online. "We've doubts about whether the sanctity of 'Mahaprasad' can be maintained if it is transported and delivered in this manner," state Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said. The law minister urged the devotees to visit the temple and have Mahaprasad.
