At an event that lasted one hour and was held on May 25 in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol district, panchayat officials reportedly ate 13 kg of dry fruits. Meanwhile, the villagers who attended the event were served khichdi. Shahdol Collector, Dr Kedar Singh, who attended the event but left after some time, had ordered an investigation into the matter.
