Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announced a one-day state mourning on Wednesday after the demise of veteran BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra. Malhotra, who was undergoing treatment at AIIMS for the last few days, passed away on Tuesday morning. CM Gupta stated that Malhotra's demise is an "irreplaceable loss" and added his last rites will be conducted with full honours.
