After commissioning of INS Udaygiri and INS Himgiri, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "One nation has a flying F-35 and [Indian Navy] has built a floating F-35...that too made in India." F-35 is a US-made fifth-generation stealth fighter jet. "These warships have been built entirely in India. Their weapons and sensor packages make them...invincible guardians of our seas," Rajnath said.
