Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana' on Friday, under which one woman from every family will get ₹10,000 to start a business of her choice. An assessment of the business will be conducted six months after its start, and up to ₹2 lakh will be provided if needed. The scheme will begin in September 2025.
